Modern Reprographics, the monthly journal for the wide-format and grand-format imaging industry, featured Sabre’s work for Loews Cineplex Entertainment in a recent issue. The article, “Eye-Popping Graphics: The Growing Trend in Interior Signage,” focused on point-of-sale displays created by Sabre to promote the theatre chain’s Holiday Gift Packs. These specialty products are sold in the theatres during the holiday season, and are supported only at point-of-sale.
The four-color, die-cut display features the usher character that Sabre has developed into a brand icon for Loews. The display was created in multiple sizes for positioning throughout the theatre. A smaller display was positioned at the ticket booth and concession counter, while a five-foot-tall display was positioned in high-visibility locations in the lobby.
“The display was effective in creating awareness for the Gift Packs among moviegoers, and led to a significant increase in unit volume over previous years. We’re very proud to have our work featured in Modern Reprographics,” said Gary Soprano, President of Sabre Digital Creative. “We continue to challenge ourselves to create new and exciting ways to help our clients get the point across. The Loews Cineplex display is yet another example of that charge.”
